Energy Environment Group of Aberdeen has announced that it has more that tripled its earning during the past year.

Its latest figures show an annual turnover of £19million which was up 50% on the year before.

The Scottish business said a further 30 to 40 jobs could be created over the next year as it introduces new technology, particularly in the alternative energy sector.

The company currently has 80 people employed in the discovery and development of new technologies to improve environmental performance and reduce costs in upstream oil and gas.
